Transportation to/FROM the HyATT

From Newark Airport:

If you arriving by plane, we have arranged shared rides with other participants.  You will either be picked up by Monica and Angie or by State Shuttle (800/427-3207).  The shuttle details will be sent to participants by e-mail.

In addition, trains run from Newark to New Brunswick approximately every half hour.  To take the train, you need ot take AirTrain to the train station from the airport, which is $5.50.

Getting to New Brunswick/Hyatt by Train:

New Jersey Transit trains running between Trenton and Penn Station/New York stop at the New Brunswick station at least hourly, with more frequent service during rush hour.

Amtrak's Northeast Corridor trains (traveling between Washington and Boston) generally do not stop in New Brunswick, but one can transfer at Trenton (coming from the south) or New York (coming from the north) to a New Jersey Transit local.  For schedules, call New Jersey Transit at (973) 762-5100 (from out of state) or visit the New Jersy Transit website.

Once you arrive at the New Brunswick station, the Hyatt is located two blocks, walking distance, from the NB train station. The Hyatt's website provides a nice map of the area.

To walk to the Hyatt, if you exit onto Eastern or Albany, go left and walk two blocks to the hotel on your right side. If you exit onto Somerset, go right and walk two blocks.  The hotel is on the corner of Albany and Neilson.

About New Brunswick

New Brunswick, though a small city, does have its share of crime and so we encourage all participants to be aware of their surroundings when they're in downtown New Brunswick.
